Festive Function Packages T&Cs

Provisional Bookings / Confirming Your Booking

Tentative bookings will be held for 14 days. After this period the booking will automatically lapse. To confirm your tentative booking, a 25% deposit payment is required. Credit card is the preferred method of payment. If you require an invoice, we can arrange and confirmation will be accepted upon receipt of payment.

Minimum Spend

Our minimum spend covers all food costs, staffing and overheads, particularly on a night / day when we are opening the venue for you.

Final Numbers

Final Numbers of guests attending is to be confirmed seven full business days prior to the function – charges will be levied according to your guaranteed figure or actual numbers attending the event; whichever is greater.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation with less than 14 days’ notice, the requested 25% deposit will be forfeited. In the event of cancellation with less than seven days’ notice, 50% of the total amount owing will be charged. In the event of cancellation with less than 48 hours notice, 100% of the total amount owing will be charged.

Set up

Our Restaurant does have a very individual look. We have furniture available that is compatible with the layout of the Restaurant dimensions, therefore we are unable to accommodate the use of external furniture. We pay great homage to the heritage and history of the 1800’s building therefore we are unable to hang anything from the building and decorations must be inline with the elegant décor of St Hugo.

St Hugo Food Philosophy

St Hugo reserves the right to provide all catering on the premises. Strictly no outside food or beverages allowed. Food allergies can be catered for with prior notice. Please let us know of these requirements seven full business days prior to the function.

Cake Policy

For guests wanting to bring their own cake, it must first be approved by Venue Manager, and quoted at $15 per person. Alternatively, St Hugo will provide a cake maker for the client to use.

Rates

Rates quoted are valid from 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2019

Responsible Service of Alcohol

It is illegal to serve alcohol to any person/s who we believe to be intoxicated and we reserve the right to refuse service to any such person/s. It is illegal to serve alcohol to any person/s under the age of eighteen years and we reserve the right to request suitable identification to prove this.
