YEAR 1 OF THE LIMITED EDITION FINE WINE SERIES BY DANIEL RICCIARDO
The DR3 x St Hugo collaboration began with Daniel Ricciardo’s passion for wine and his desire to learn more about winemaking – by getting his hands dirty, understanding the craft, history and techniques – to ultimately create some really interesting wines.
Our first year release featured the DR3 x St Hugo Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 and the DR3 x St Hugo Barossa Valley Shiraz. Following excellent critic reviews and a sold-out performance, we knew we had some big glasses to fill with our second year release.

A superbly constructed and classic example of Coonawarra Cabernet that is showing primarily youthful fruit with just a touch of aged complexity starting to average, which suggests it will age well. Delicious though at its best in 2030. - Angus Hughson

Very well made and matured to a point where it's totally delicious, what's not to like? 2014 is an elegant year hence the wine has the regional plush palette structure but not heaviness and the middle flavours of dark berry fruits linger. - Rob Geddes
